So, who is this girl named 'Crysalie'? That is the question of the hour, isn't it? ;) Online I have been known by many names, specifically in the Inuyasha fandom. Knock-on-Wood was once my old pen name on such fanfiction sites, and recently I changed it to Crysalie. The change is to reflect a new sense of self I feel. In truth, my old writings and ways of thinking have changed drastically in the past year. What can I say? College tends to open your eyes and reveal who you are and what you dream for the future. But more importantly, it allows you the chance for independence that you never had before...or at least that is how it is for me, which I might add, I'm still getting used to.

Currently a Sophmore at Texas State University, in San Marcos, Texas, I'm working toward an Education degree. However, I'm a born and raised an Austin gal! Though, you will quickly find I am not the average nineteen year old. In fact, I hold myself to my morals and stand strong with them. Discrimination, stereotypes, and other negative things annoy me. (In fact, I think if I had been born in the time of the Hippies, I'd be one. :P I love smiley faces!)

That said, I generally will welcome anyone who wishes to be my friend. However, I have one stipulation. I'm a moderator at the Inuyasha Fanguild. Please, I don't ask that you forget I am a moderator...that would be unreasonable and pointless, since no one is bound to forget. What I do ask of everyone, is that you take into consideration that I am a person as well. Whatever vendetta you may have against the moderators or the Guild in general, with how things run even, please leave them at the door. I'm a friendly person and I volunteered to be a moderator in hopes of helping to improve things. Thus, please, leave any bitterness you may feel toward the moderators or the Group out of my journal. There is enough negativity as it is, I am a crusader of happiness and joy. :D
